2nd trip to BKK yeay!! not really a trip actually as we had our own purpose... buying clothes as much as we can afford with only 30kgs bagage, haha..
1st night.. just landed.. flying with AA from jkt to bkk ETD 16.20, ETA 19.35, we already booked our hotel from agoda.com (best rate THB 1,350/nite), once we arrived we're heading to BUDACCO HOTEL where we stay for 5 days, the hotel has color theme, located inside PRATUNAM MARKET, half hour from airport (THB 300 by taxi), 7' walking distance to PLATINUM MAL, 10' by taxi or tuk" to SIAM PARAGON (THB 70). The hotel was hard to find, i think it's quite new, clean also, but nobody know where the hell the hotel is, haha.. but it has many food street along the HOTEL (corn, many fruits cost THB 20), quite crowded, but won't be so noisy if you stay in the room, coz the HOTEL located inside the street where there's only CARGO service next to the hotel, and COZY INN hotel in front of budacco, so simple way is just said heading to BAIYOKE SKY HOTEL, it's quite near from BUDACCO.

21-44 kgs = THB 223/kg
45kgs up = THB 196/kg
1 BOX FULL (around 30KGS, lump sum = THB 5600)
2nd day..shopping day.. morning has come, time for breakfast.. FYI BUDACCO only served 2 sausage, scrambbled egg/fried egg, 2 toasts, ham, coffee/tea, orange juice and water DAILY (and am gettin enough..). Finished with breakfast we walk to PLATINUM MAL, where we can find many clothes especially women clothes, bag, accessories. PLATINUM Has 6 floors, where 1st-4th fl for clothes, 5th for accessories and bags, 6th mostly for souvenir and FOOD COURT (you have to change your money into e-card, that you can refund it again after). on average the foods will cost you around THB 40-150/menu. PLATINUM also has KFC and 1 japanesse resto.
tips for shopping at PLATINUM.. bring your own wheel bag (it cost THB 500 if you want to buy at basement), preapre for your FOOT and MONEY.. you will buy evrything you see!!
and TMB or UOB bank has best rate for money exchange, you can find TMB outside PLATINUM or inside at Basement near to escalator and grand canyon coffee.
3rd day.. looking for a crab..we went by TAXI to nearby seafood resto (THB 43 from BUDACCO), the taxi driver stop at 1 big seafood resto named SRIAYUDHAYA SEAFOOD MARKET, it morely looks like chineese resto, which has big round table inside, and FYI.. damn expensive, 1 crab cost THB 1300, 1 morning glory (kangkung) THB 300, really cost us alot!! (imagine how many clothes that you can get with that money, huhuhuhu...)
4th day.. still looking for a crab.. #curious..our hotel's staff told us to try KUANG SEAFOOD at soi rang nam (not really far from our hotel, THB 40 by taxi) we went there, and try 1 curry crab, and 1 blackpapper (HOT!!) crab, oowww.. delicious.. only cost THB 380/crab, i'd like to go there again..hihihi..
5th.. or last day at BKKafter breakfast and repack our bagage we spent our time in SIAM PARAGON (big shopping mall, where has seaworld inside the mall), before going back home..
from BUDACCO to SIAM, you can get taxi about 10' (THB 70) or BTS, but you have to walk around 15' to RACHATTEWI (BTS terminal), and stop at SIAM (only 1 stop THB 15).
Actually we didn't know what to do to spend the time, our flight at 20.00 pm, so we decide to go to the cineplex at 6th floor, WAW so BIG CINEPLEX, it has many kind of theatres, NOKIA VIEWING is the most expensive (THB 600/person), as we running out or money, so we decide choose the cheapest one (THB 160), well.. before we start the movie, it has REALLY MUCH commercials break, it takes 45' for commercials brake #OMG!! and after the commercial, the screen shows THE KING OF THAI (about 3-5'), and everybody have to STAND UP!! then enjoy the movie...
tips before check out..
if you still have time, you can put your luggage at the HOTEL, give it to the front office, and you can take it back later.
